Mes Aynak | Kabul | Afghanistan


For so many different cultures, Afghanistan has served as a crossroad. Many of these historic sites have been untouched and are yet still to be discovered. The historic site of Mes Aynak, south of the capital Kabul, has been known for a long time. For the first time though, parts of the historic finds and are presented to the public with the one year exhibition ‘ Mes Aynak – Recent excavations along the Silk Road’.  S.E.E. developed the exhibition concept and worked with the curators of the National Museum of Afghanistan on implementing this concept. The successful opening showed unique artefacts made of  clay, bronze, stone and wood. The works on the exhibition were completed in 2010.
